By Sameer Desai/Viren Vyas, Pune/Ahmedabad: Having already swamped Sri Lanka 3-0 in the ongoing seven-match one-day series, the Indians are still not taking any chances as far as their preparations for the remaining four matches are concerned.

The Indian team, led by Rahul Dravid, is arriving in Pune today for the November 3 one-dayer, and the ground staff at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium has already received instructions to carry out the desired preparations on a war footing by the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA).

Though the MCA is yet to decide on the seating arrangements for the match, the sale of tickets is briskly on and the returns are huge, given the result in the series so far.

Last year, the number of seats allotted were more than the actual capacity of the stadium and a lot of spectators failed to have a proper view of the match. This time the MCA officials have said that they have geared up for the D-Day and are sure that their past mistakes won't be repeated.

Security arrangements have also been put in place, and according to informed sources, at least 1300 security personnel are on standby for doing duty during the match.

The Indian and Sri Lankan teams will arrive in Ahmedabad on November 4. The National Selectors are also expected in the city to select the team for the sixth and seventh matches to be played at Rajkot and Vadodara.

The GCA has also taken the precaution of insuring the fifth one dayer with Rs.3 crore as public liability and Rs.10 lakh insurance for each Sri Lankan player. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) looks after the insurance of Indian players.
