Up to 10,000 key decision makers in the risk and insurance industry will come to New Orleans April 29 through May 3 for the 45th annual Risk and Insurance Management Society’s annual convention.

The highlight of the convention will include a comedy benefit featuring award-winning comedian and television personality Dennis Miller, who will play host to 4,000 delegates at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. RIMS is asking the conference’s nearly 400 exhibitors to donate money to the benefit. Proceeds will help the city of New Orleans buy new fire trucks.
